It would have been better if I'd run downstairs instead of up, those little white balls looked better against the pavement, but there wasn't really time and now my slippers are soaked with melted hail.
  I was trying to shoot them on this ledge, but it's about a foot above my head so I couldn't see what I was doing.  And this one's no good either, because you can't see what I was trying to take a picture of, all the Californians on the freeway who slammed to a stop and didn't move until well after the hail had stopped.
