New resolution, and cake.

There's no story about this, except for the comment I posted, that Chad is always talking up this mysterious Red Velvet Cake and I've never made any sort of attempt to find out more about it, but always have the good intention of finding out and making one for, and, karma, kismet, wouldn't you know it, I'm poring over one of my regular reads and there it is, a recipe, not just any recipe, but a recipe tried and offered by a real person, who has pictures of real desserts he has baked, and I really have no excuse now, do I?

Plus the entire idea is just fantastic. A party. Of desserts. What more could anyone ask? Except, perhaps, a book-trading party with desserts and board games. We'll get to that, if the resident chef and my adorable sister will promise to come. Maybe even if they don't.

Resolution: This year, I will have a Book-Trade Board Game Desserts Party, and you are all invited.
