Thursday lunch
It's not technically summer for another few days, but we say: close enough, time for lunch! Get out of the house or sneak in a long break from work (because what happens in Oakland, stays in Oakland!) and join us this Thursday, June 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the vine-cooled back patio at Pacific Coast Brewing Co.
Be ready for: Food. Drinks. Laughter.
Bring: yourself, a friend, and cash
R.S.V.P. in the comments so we can save you a seat
Hope to see you there!
p.s. A wee reminder, which I am loathe to give but we've come up quite a bit short at the last few events and it's a hardship on me and the very kind stragglers who have been pitching in extra twenties:
- an item priced at $3.95 on the menu is significantly closer to $4 than $3, and two $4.50 items are $9, not $8;
- an 8.5% tax is applicable because we are seated and served; and
- a 15% gratuity is mandatorily tacked onto the final bill because we always number more than six.
If numbers make your head swim or you've had a pint too many, Your Hostess took advanced maths for fun in college and is always happy to help. If you don't believe in gratuities, you may be able to request a separate bill from our server when you order.

I had a great time at the last one, but sorry to say I don't think that I can make this one. The boy is between school (last week)and camp (this week), and I don't think that an 8 year old would fit in :-)
Next time...
