3 Canción del Mariachi (Desperado) -- Jacob Valenzuela
The only instrument I've ever wanted to learn to play is the guitar. Especially when the rhythm kicks in. I want to strum like that.

4 Laugh You Out The House -- Everything But The Girl
Jamie and I, taking BART to meet some boys and wandering in a playground on a foggy day. My boy was wearing a shetland sweater and his blond bangs hung in his eyes. We went to one of their houses and listened to Everything But The Girl's first album.

5 Desaparecido -- Manu Chao
Along with "Desperado," my favorite from the Calexico fallout. I want to take little steps when I dance, then gallop around the room with my uncle.

6 Champion Birdwatchers -- LA Symphony
Every time I get totally disgusted with the state of hip hop, I hear a song like this then go buy a bunch of albums.

7 Baby Workout -- Jackie Wilson
Our other songs before Ch*d came here were Jackie Wilson. "Baby Workout" wasn't one of them, but you should hear him do a text rendition of "Lonely Teardrops."

8 Ah! Leah! -- Donnie Iris
I thought Donnie Iris' "Ah! Leah!" was just *the* sexiest song ever when I was about the girl's age. I don't like to think about that.
